Course length sets the amount of coaching time, not a guaranteed level. At KiteAdventure, practice is adapted to your starting point: before moving on, your instructor checks which exercises you can perform with control. These are indicative goals for a complete beginner.
4 hours · Discover the sport and build foundations
A first experience with the equipment, practice area and initial kite control. The aim is to understand your instructor’s directions and begin handling the kite progressively.

Suitable for trying the sport and understanding the foundations. It is not a promise of independent riding.
8 hours · More guided practice in the water
Time to revisit the basics and practise control during water exercises. When your level allows, this can include moving through the water with the kite without a board (body dragging), board preparation and first waterstart attempts.

How do we decide whether a lesson can go ahead?
Your instructor assesses the wind, sea state and practice area before the session. Conditions in Mayapo vary from day to day, so the timing, exercises and training area are adjusted. Radio communication supports the instructor’s guidance. If conditions are unsuitable, a session may be postponed or cancelled; check the weather and refund terms before booking.
