Choose time for learning, not a promised result

A course duration tells you how much instruction you are booking. It does not guarantee that you will ride independently by the last session. Wind, water conditions, your previous experience and the time you need to feel comfortable all influence the learning process. Start by sharing your experience and the number of days you can stay.

4 hours: a first introduction

A shorter course can suit someone who wants to discover the sport before committing to a longer learning plan. Expect the foundations to take priority: understanding the equipment, safety and kite control. Do not choose four hours on the assumption that the course will finish with independent riding. A useful first experience is one in which you understand your next steps.

8 hours: more time to practise

An eight-hour course gives more room for guided practice across several sessions. At KiteAdventure, the usual planning reference is three to four days. Depending on progress and conditions, instruction can move towards body drag, board preparation and first rides. If you have taken lessons before, describe what you could actually do rather than relying only on a level label.

12 hours: a longer learning plan

Twelve hours provide additional time for repetition and feedback. Our planning reference is four to five days, rather than twelve continuous hours on the water. More time can help an instructor revisit difficult steps and adapt sessions to the student. It is still not a promise of a particular riding level or a fixed daily schedule.

Match your course to your trip

Tell us your arrival and departure dates, whether they are flexible and whether you prefer private or shared instruction. Leave room in your travel plans for changing conditions. Consult the current course page for prices and inclusions, then request availability before making a payment. If you are returning after a break, mention when you last rode and which skills you would like to refresh.
