Confirm the practical details first

Before travelling to the beach, confirm the meeting point, lesson arrangement and how to contact the team. A booking enquiry is not the same as a confirmed lesson. If your arrival changes, let us know so that the session can be discussed again around the available conditions.

Pack for time at the beach

Bring swimwear that stays secure during activity, a towel, drinking water and dry clothes for afterwards. Choose sun protection appropriate for you and bring something to wear while waiting out of the water. Ask the team about suitable footwear for the planned teaching area before buying specialist items.

Check what equipment is provided

Our current course page lists the equipment and other inclusions for each format. You do not need to buy a kite simply to start lessons. If you already own equipment, share its details in advance: the instructor needs to assess whether it is appropriate for the session, your level and the conditions.

Share your experience honestly

Tell your instructor if you have tried kite control, body drag or waterstarts before. Mention a long break from the sport or anything that could affect your comfort in the water. You do not need to pretend to be more experienced; useful information helps the instructor choose an appropriate starting point.

Keep your day flexible

Avoid planning a tight connection immediately after the session. Lesson timing and activities depend on conditions and the teaching plan. Bring only the valuables you need and ask about storage before leaving belongings at the beach. Before departing, clarify the next session and any changes to your original schedule.
